Did you try AirCanada? It's not non-stop but there are fares as low as $248 round trip (although that might be $248 Canadian... stupid Loonies).
Thanks - I did look into that and saw the $248 fare. Of course thats' before taxes and (Dear Lord) a $150 FUEL SURCHARGE. High fuel cost due to war someone started in the Middle East...stupid Loonies).
Thanks for a great weekend and your lovely comments; on my massive search for a flight to NYC I looked at, Kuwait, Air India, Continental, Virgin, BA, American (whom I flew with) & United all of which are direct. One stop include Air France (via Paris) and KLM (via Amsterdam). Try Travelzoo, cheapflights.com and flightcenter or sleeping with some cabin crew. Good luck, I will look from UK too xx
