Through 25 Christmases, I have seen the following:
- The Death of my maternal grandfather on Christmas Eve
- The Death of my paternal grandfather on December 22
- My brother's broken arm on Christmas Day
- My grandmother's broken arm on Christmas Day
- Car accidents involving no less than 2 relatives
And now this. Most Wonderful Time of the Year my Ass. Literally.

I can understand your feelings having lost my maternal grandfather just before christmas set in, 9 years before. Time eventually heals it, though it is very hard for my grandmother to forget her husband of 50 years.
